Kenzo was founded in 1970 by Japanese designer Kenzo Takada. Born in Japan, Kenzo moved to Paris in search of a fashion career in 1964. Known for his fusion of Asian and Japanese styles executed for a European market, he started out with a single jungle-themed women's wear boutique in Paris. By 1987, Takada was designing men’s, women’s and Kenzo childrenswear and home collections too. The Kenzo brand is now a global success, with celebrities such as Beyoncé and Rihanna often seen wearing the brand. In 2019, Felipe Oliveira Baptista, formerly of Lacoste, was appointed as creative director of Kenzo and a new logo was unveiled. Vibrant style codes, mixed prints and sophisticated creativity are all true symbols of the Kenzo aesthetic.
Kenzo kidswear encapsulates the true spirit of the Kenzo brand. The Kenzo kids sweater featuring the iconic tiger is reimagined season after season for all ages from baby to teen and also features on Kenzo baby t-shirts and junior t-shirts too. Choose Kenzo kids for bright colour palettes, relaxed, cool sportswear, cutest and fun babywear and an explosion of street-style in ages baby to sixteen years.
